What happens when MDS students graduate? Great things!
Our graduates attend the high school programs of their choice, and they enjoy an unprecedented rate of acceptance to the top Jewish high schools in Manhattan and the greater metropolitan area. As proud as we are of our graduates’ academic accomplishments, we are equally proud of who they go on to become as adults: doctors and teachers, lawyers and writers, scientists, rabbis, soldiers, spouses, mothers, fathers, artists, and more. Many of our graduates become parents and grandparents of new generations of MDS students; other MDS graduates return as MDS teachers! Whatever road our alumni take, they build on the foundation for leadership that they acquired during their tenure at MDS and they go on to do great things. They live good lives; they keep the Jewish faith alive and vital; and they contribute humbly—and mightily—to creating a better world.

Best of Both Worlds

Education at MDS consists of acquiring knowledge, mastering skills, and forming character. Our rigorous Secular Studies curriculum emphasizes Reading, Writing Skills, Social Studies, Science, Library Science, Mathematics, Museum Education, Computer Science, Music, Art, and Physical Education.

Our Judaic Studies program offers an extensive academic curriculum in Bible, Talmud, Prophets, Laws, Zionism, and Hebrew Language. Each curriculum is offered in the context of a warm, religious environment that fosters an atmosphere of honesty, generosity, and respect for the thoughts and feelings of others. Our goal is the integrated growth of the total child.
