Grades 7-8: Communication University

Goals of Communication University:

• Provide a safe learning environment for the students to learn how to “behave,” “write,” “act,” “read,” and “use,” the Internet.
• Allow an open forum for discussion so that students can learn how to present themselves online.
• Teach valuable and lifelong skills and strategies to properly utilize the 21st century tool.

Format of the Day:

Communication University will consist of 2 lectures and 4 seminars that will discuss the following six topics:

Digital Footprints; Powers and Positives of the Internet; Bullying; Internet Safety; Image; Addiction
