Why Give
Manhattan Day School / Yeshiva Ohr Torah depends on philanthropic support from our parents, grandparents, alumni and friends in order to continue to provide the best possible education to our students in both Jewish and general studies.
Our donors have varied and individual motivations for giving to MDS. Some choose to support a specific fund such as the MDS Scholarship Fund, the Annual Fund or the Capital Campaign. Others choose to support a specific program through our sponsorship opportunities such as library book donations and the Limud Program. Still others prefer to financially support the school without any restrictions as to its use, offering MDS the flexibility to earmark the funds where they are most needed.
This much needed financial support helps strengthen our academic programs, increases our ability to provide scholarships to families who qualify and allows us to continue to provide a quality education to our students.
We are deeply grateful to the many parents, former parents, grandparents, alumni and friends who support our mission and partner with us.
