Limud Program

Walking down the hallways at MDS, one cannot help but feel the exuberance and excitement of the students studying Torah. Our school is all about Torah and the transmission of our heritage to the next generation. Our Hebrew name, Yeshiva Ohr Torah, exemplifies how important we believe Torah study is for our students and we pledge to be a “Light of Torah” for generations to come.

The tradition of the Limud Program is one that has been practiced by Jewish Day Schools and Yeshivot for centuries. The MDS Limud Program allows individuals the opportunity to dedicate a day, a week or a month of Torah study at MDS.

The dedication can be in memory or in honor of a loved one or in connection of a special occasion such as a yahrzeit, birth, anniversary, Bar/Bat Mitzvah etc… or you may choose to honor someone special for no specific reason.

Your dedication will be announced to our students, a certificate will be displayed in the lobby of the school and an email will be sent to the parent body. All Limud Program sponsors will be noted in the weekly Messenger.

$360 dedicates a month of learning
